As the Gathering Place is developing a new pedestrian bridge and public access in River Parks this month, a large number of Commemorative trees are being affected and will need to be replanted this Fall. The Gathering Place will be funding the re-planting of all the trees to be removed, including commemorative trees that have been planted in memory of many loved ones throughout the last several years.
It is unfortunate to be losing trees in this area, but with the partnership with River Parks Authority we are hopeful that we will find a great new place to plant healthy, well-maintained trees. The planting will take place the first week of November, and we welcome anyone to join our crew and volunteer support in the planting efforts.
