Join in the conversation on Wednesday, June 8, as Up With Trees hosts a community meeting to discuss the future of Tulsa's trees. The discussion will include an overview of the trees Tulsa has today, as well as the opportunity for Tulsa residents to share their vision for our city’s future.
Trees provide many benefits to the Tulsa community from water quality to temperature regulation to raised property values. They also beautify Tulsa neighborhoods, roadways and public spaces. In order to ensure that Tulsa's urban forest continues to thrive and improve in health, Up With Trees is working with the City of Tulsa and several other entities on the creation of a 20 year plan outlining the future of Tulsa County’s trees, the Urban Forest Master Plan. This plan will include a vision set by tree experts, city officials, invested stakeholders, and you! Please join us on June 8 to discuss the future of Tulsa's trees and the role they play in our community. The Community Meeting will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at OSU Tulsa North Hall Room 150.
