Thanks to the generosity of the Apache Foundation, we have another opportunity to facilitate a large shipment of 3-5 gallon trees (5-6 feet tall) to give away available to all Green Country residents, fall 2009!  This time, we are able to offer 4 trees to individuals per $10 donation to offset our costs.  Individuals applying for trees must agree to Call Okie as well as review our online tree care materials and/or watch Up With Trees “Tree Care” video, or have requisite tree care knowledge.   Our goal is that you have all the information you need to ensure safe and proper planting practices and long term maintenance needs for trees.  The trees are intended to be planted on your property to help grow Tulsa’s urban forest and make our city a healthier, more beautiful and livable place to live.

Available 3-gallon trees include shumard oaks, redbuds, weeping willows, small loblolly pine and small chinese pistache.  Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you get your application in, the better your chances of getting the types of trees you wish.

An Up With Trees representative will contact you upon receipt of your application, confirm tree species available, and receipt you for your donation.
