Get Involved: Become a Citizen Forester

  • Share/Bookmark

The Up With Trees Citizen Forester program is an exciting curriculum for Tulsans who are interested in learning or enhancing arboricultural knowledge and skills. Citizen Foresters will receive 16 hours of training with Tulsa’s top arborists, learning how to identify tree species, plant and maintain trees as well as promote urban forestry awareness and education.

Program graduates will become part of a volunteer corps that will plant, maintain, prune and inventory trees in parks and other locations.  Join us as we beautify our community and contribute to public health; our Citizen Forester classes will take place on 4 Saturday mornings, beginning March 20th, 2010 at our new facility at 11th & Boston.
